A fine art Giclée print of my soft pastel painting of the iconic poppy fields. 'Remembrance' is inspired by the famous poem, 'Flanders Fields' by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae. Originally designed as an endpaper for a book draft based on WWI.
The image is printed with a border to set off the artwork and to allow for the print to be trimmed, if need be and are signed and numbered.
All my Giclée Prints are printed onto 280gsm Innova Soft White Cotton paper, which is acid and lignin free. This paper has a lovely thickness to it, with a soft, slightly textured surface, reminiscent of the pastel paper used for the original painting. I have experimented with several papers to give you a top quality print as close to the original as possible.
All prints are printed using Epson UltraChrome K3 Ink, which is archival and creates a lightfast print (fade resistant) for up to 75 years.
